REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:
A valid credit card or debit card is required to guarantee and pay for your Shellshock’d Laser Tag reservation. There will be a $25 cancellation fee for all parties or events canceled after payment is received. NO REFUND in the event of your reservation being canceled within 14 days of your event. We will make every effort to postpone your event, with no penalty, to another date should cancellation be necessary.
PRIVACY POLICY:
Shellshock’d Laser Tag is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make bookings with us as simple as possible and to enhance your overall experience. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
TRAVEL/FUEL SURCHARGE:
A Travel/Fuel surcharge is applied for locations in excess of 25 miles from our home zip code of 27871 (Robersonville, NC) See our Service Area page for more information.
BAD WEATHER:
Laser Tag play can be affected by severe or very wet weather (unless indoor play at a larger venue is planned.) There may be occasions when the weather does not want to cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather (snow, heavy rain, very high winds, flooding and/or ice) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff and equipment. If the threat of these storms threatens your party and you are aware in advance (pending or anticipated heavy rain, snow storm, or other severe weather) please contact us to begin the rescheduling, or have a contingency plan for an indoor venue (large room, school gymnasium, etc.)
SUPERVISED CHILDREN:
Shellshock’d Laser Tag does require a parent or responsible adult to be on scene during the party.
WAIVER:
All participants must have a signed “hold harmless” waiver prior to participation. Minors (under 18) must have the waiver signed by a parent or responsible guardian. Waiver can be downloaded here.
ALCOHOL/DRUGS:
Due to the nature of Laser Tag game play, involving running around obstacles and other players, we reserve the right to limit game play to those not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We may and reserve the right to refuse, cancel or cut short any party or booking when alcohol is being served. Drugs of any sort will not be tolerated during any Shellshock’d Laser Tag event. Any observed use of illegal narcotics or legal narcotics used in an illegal manner will result in the termination of the party immediately.
DAMAGE/INJURY:
Neither Shellshock’d Laser Tag, nor any of it’s employees shall be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to set up the laser tag playing field in a specific location. This includes both above ground and below ground property/equipment damage. Additionally, Shellshock’d Laser Tag reserves the right to charge the client’s credit card for damages to our equipment resulting from the careless or willful damage of same by client’s guests. Neither Shellshock’d Laser Tag nor their employees assume any responsibility for any injuries sustained on the client’s property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries are the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.
PICTURES:
While your party is in effect the Game Coach may be taking pictures of the game play. We use these party photos for our web site and Social Media pages (Facebook, etc.) We never identify players’ last names or locations. If you do not want our Game Coach taking these pictures or posting them on the Fan Page please notify the Game Coach prior to the party.
TIPS:
The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He or she tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for good service is a great idea, but not required.

QUESTION: How do I do this? How do I look into booking a party?
ANSWER: Go to our “Check Dates/Book Now” page and send in your date time and we’ll respond letting you know if it is available. Just confirm and that’s it!
QUESTION: Will the kids know what to do?
ANSWER: That’s why we bring our Shellshock’d Game Coach/Referee! He/She helps the kids along, inspires and instructs. The Game Coach will give instructions prior to the first game and fully instruct guests in Game Play and safety.
QUESTION: Should I be concerned about safety?
ANSWER: Shellshock’d Laser Tag is fun and safe! No paint ball pain or mess! There is no actual “Laser,” just a beam of infrared light. It’s the same technology that TV remotes use. We will give safety instructions to guests prior to game play, and do a quick scan of the game play area to reduce hazards. Due to the nature of the game (running, hiding, etc.) all guests must sign a “hold harmless” waiver prior to participating in any Shellshock’d Laser Tag game. QUESTION: What about bad weather?
ANSWER: In the event of heavy rain, snow or foul weather, we will make every effort to reschedule your party to a day with weather better suited to Laser Tag play…or you can choose to move the party indoors if your venue can support game play.
QUESTION: Should I schedule Laser Tag at the beginning or toward the end of the party?
ANSWER: We suggest that you plan for Laser Tag first…and eat later. This way, guests aren’t running around immediately after eating…and they can work up an appetite while playing!
QUESTION: What if too many people show up to the party? Is there an extra charge?
ANSWER: Certainly not! Bring them on! We provide laser taggers for up to 14 guests, but if need be can rotate guests through games to be sure everybody gets plenty of play time. (Laser Tag birthday parties are best suited for groups of 14 or less so there is no “waiting to play”, but we are happy to rotate as needed.)

ANSWER: The Game Coach/Referee is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He/she tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for service is a great idea, but not required.
QUESTION: Do I have to pay for the party in advance?
ANSWER: Our reservations go quickly. In order to hold your booking, you must pay online. Otherwise, your date and time is still open for booking by others. Please call to discuss if your organization or situation is an exception and we can talk about options.
QUESTION: What time will you be arriving?
ANSWER: The Game Coach arrives in plenty of time for the playing field to be set up and allow your party to start at the designated start time. (Normally we’ll arrive between 10-20 minutes ahead of your party time.)
